Two years after the launch of the Coupé version of the Gallardo, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Lamborghini presented at the IAA in 2005. Sant'Agata plans for a version of two-wheel drive Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder - which reflects the limited number of rear-wheel drive 2009-edition of the Copa Gallardo Balboni.
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder is not just a convertible version of the coupe, but is a completely new model. It has an attractive new design and a unique system for opening and closing the fabric roof that uses the engine compartment to store the folded roof. Sales of the new rear wheel Spyder LP550-2 will begin in early 2012, Lambo has confirmed that CAR. It will look like other convertible Gallardo, changes are only for the material under the skin.

Lamborghini Centro Stile and engineers from research and development team worked closely with the development of this new project and for these clean and sharp lines on the road. As the higher tin RWD Gallardo, the Spyder is a bit detuned V10 driving the rear axle.

As the name suggests, the LP550-2 will develop 550 horsepower instead of the regular 560. This is the metric of a horse, which means that the 550-2 will meet with some 543bhp. Although Balboni edition was a limited edition of only 250 copies, Lamborghini has continued to provide a rear wheel drive Gallardo as a basis "entry level" model (if there is anything that is not native to Sant 'Agata can never say that the level of entrance).

The LP 550-2 axes lost before, except for a few pounds here and there, giving testers more slidey road, said Gallardo experience. We hope the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP550 Spyder 2012-2 to cost less than the true LP560-4 Spyder. Although prices have not yet confirmed, we are looking at about £ 10 000 less - and showed a cost of about £ 152 000.
